Working with Lorie at Firefly Retreivers was a real pleasure! She is as friendly as she is knowledgeable of her retrievers. She answered all of my questions and made herself available to me for any future questions, which I have taken advantage of on several occasions! I was not able to get my puppy when the rest of the litter went to their homes so Lorie kept my boy for 4 additional weeks and completed potty training and teaching other basic commands with him. She also personally delivered him to me in Nashville (from Kansas City)! He is such a healthy, happy, and sweet boy. I know the care and love that he was given by Lorie is a major factor in that. Firefly’s was an absolute delight to work with. Lorie is such a wealth of information and made the arrival of my sweet Abbie as stress free as possible. I had researched every possible option to pick up my puppy. Every option involved a minimum 12 hour car ride one way. Lorie suggested that she fly to the closest airport and hand deliver my puppy. Turns out she left her house at 3:00am in order to catch her flight to deliver my Abbie. I was blown away with her dedication to her breeding program. She truly is committed to finding the right fit for each of her babies. She goes one step further to insure that they are delivered in the safest, and most stress free way possible. I absolutely love my Abbie. She is exactly what I had hoped for. Her temperament is incredible and she is such a smush baby. I was so impressed with Firefly’s that I recommended them to my best friend. Turns out she now has a litter mate of my sweet Abbie. Lorie has been a great source for information on crates, play pens, chew toys, and potty training. A new puppy was quite an adjustment and Lorie was a text away to answer any questions I had. Cannot say enough about Firefly’s. They are a wonderful breeder and Lorie has become a special friend!
